If you just installed your Toyota 4Runner Hamilton Conversion Kit for CarPlay and Android Auto, or any other Hamilton Conversion Kit for Toyota, and your volume is too quiet or has crackles, follow these steps.
- Power the unit on and access the Hamilton Underlying OS (in CarPlay press the Hamilton icon to access this).
- Go to Settings > System Version. Check your device system version against the Toyota Hamilton Conversion Kit Update Center Help Center article. Update your OS, CAN, and MCU versions per the instructions to the latest software version to ensure your JBL amp is powering and adjusting as designed.
