The Hamilton GX Premium Conversion Kit allows you to control your vehicle’s climate settings directly through the Hamilton interface. This guide covers how to adjust the temperature, manage the three-zone climate system, control airflow, and access additional climate features.
1. Adjusting the Temperature
You can adjust the driver’s and front passenger’s temperatures independently when three-zone climate control is enabled.
- On the Hamilton Home Screen, select Climate.
- Locate the temperature controls on the Hamilton climate screen.
- Use the driver’s-side temperature control to adjust the driver’s temperature.
- Use the passenger-side temperature control to adjust the front passenger’s temperature.
- You can also use the physical temperature knobs below the screen to make adjustments.
Note: When three-zone climate control is turned off, the driver’s and passenger’s temperatures are synchronized.
2. Using the 3-Zone Climate System
The 3-Zone setting determines whether the driver’s and passenger’s temperatures are linked or controlled independently.
- 3-Zone OFF: The driver’s and passenger’s temperatures are synchronized. Adjusting one side changes the temperature for both sides.
- 3-Zone ON: The driver’s and passenger’s temperatures can be adjusted independently.
To use the 3-Zone setting:
- Locate the 3-Zone control on the climate screen.
- When 3-Zone is off, adjust the driver’s temperature to change both sides together.
- To adjust the passenger’s temperature independently, change the passenger-side temperature setting. This automatically enables 3-Zone mode.
- To synchronize both sides again, turn 3-Zone off.
You can also adjust the temperature using the physical knobs below the screen.
Video covers synchronized and independent temperature control.
3. Adjusting Fan Speed and Airflow
You can control the fan speed and choose where air flows into the cabin through the Hamilton climate interface.
Adjusting Fan Speed
- Locate the fan-speed control on the climate screen.
- Increase or decrease the fan level to adjust airflow.
- You can also use the physical fan controls below the screen.
- Use the available off control to turn the climate system off.
Selecting Airflow Direction
- Locate the airflow-direction control.
- Press the control to cycle through the available airflow settings.
- Alternatively, select the desired defrost mode when you need to direct airflow toward the windshield.
4. Using the Rear Climate Controls
The Hamilton interface also provides access to the rear climate system.
- Select the rear climate control button on the climate screen.
- Turn on the rear climate system.
- Select AUTO if you want the system to manage operation automatically.
- Adjust the rear temperature to your preference.
- Adjust the rear fan speed as needed.
Video covers temperature adjustments, fan speed, airflow direction, rear climate controls, and additional climate settings.
5. Additional Climate Settings
The climate interface provides access to additional features, including the following:
- Recirculation / Outside Air: Switch between recirculating cabin air and drawing in outside air.
- Heated Windshield Wipers: Access the heated windshield wiper feature, if equipped.
- Pollen Filter: Access the pollen-filter option, if available in your vehicle.
- Front Defrost: Select the appropriate setting to direct airflow toward the windshield.
- Rear Defrost and Mirror Heating: Access the rear-window defrost and mirror-heating functions through the available control.
Feature availability may vary depending on your vehicle's equipment and configuration.
