Recalibrating Tacoma Conversion Kit Buttons

Hamilton Conversion Kit – Toyota Tacoma

Use this procedure if physical control buttons (Home, Maps, Phone, Mode, Brightness, Apps, Radio, Mute, etc.) are not responding correctly or require recalibration after installation or update.

Step 1: Open Panel key learning

  • Open Settings → Go to System

  • Scroll down and select Learn Panel Key

  • Or

  • Open Settings → Go to Settings Guide

  • Enter password 1776 and press OK

  • Scroll down and select Learn Panel Key

Step 2: Clear Existing Button Assignments

  • Select Clear to remove previous button mappings.

  • Confirm that all button fields are now empty or unassigned.

Step 3: Assign Each Button Function

  • Tap the field next to the desired function (example: Home ICON).

  • Press the corresponding physical button on the Hamilton Conversion Unit. (example: Home Button)

  • Confirm that “Successfully Set” appears on the screen.

  • Repeat this process for each required function: Home, Maps (NAVI), Phone, Mode, Brightness (DIMN Stands for DIM/Nightmode), Apps, Radio(FM), Mute (Press Volume Knob).

Assign only the functions necessary for your vehicle configuration.

Step 4: Save Calibration

  • After assigning all buttons

  • Select Save.
